WHERE IS YOUR THRONE NOW, AVATAR? WHERE IS IT?
This is a bit misleading. Dear John did not break any of Avatar’s records, it’s just the first movie since Avatar came out to knock it out of the #1 spot at the box-office… but that doesn’t mean that more people wanted to see it. It’s most likely just that everyone who wanted to see Avatar already has seen Avatar multiple times. Avatar is still by all measurable means the biggest movie of all time.‘Dear John’ replaces ‘Avatar’ as No. 1 at the box office. Read on.
