If you don’t “get” Meg White’s drumming, I have some bad news for you:

You don’t get the White Stripes either.

Meg’s simplistic, minimalist drumming is absolutely critical to everything the Stripes are. And if you don’t get that, if that’s a concept that’s difficult for you, if you still are under the opinion that “fast = good”, then you don’t get the point of The White Stripes.
