So… I’m getting a kitten. And she kind of needs a name. She’s about two months old, and she’s all gray with yellow eyes. Here are some possibilities I’ve thought of so far…

Isis, named after my favorite Bob Dylan song.
Regina, named after the great Miss Spektor.
Zooey, do I even have to say who this is named after? <33

Any other suggestions? Or which do you like best?

Just got this out of my school’s library and listened to it. It’s good, not great like everyone else thinks it is.

Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin Fame) and Alison Krauss have two voices that blend together in a way that’s really unique, almost creating a single voice out of two. The only band I can think of that’s accomplished this before are Simon & Garfunkel.

But while their voices are definitely an A+, the music is unfortunately somewhere closer to a C+/B-. A few of the songs (Rich Woman, Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us, and Gone Gone Gone) almost save the rest of the album, but then you get snoozers like Polly Come Home and Please Read The Letter that remind you why you’re still not loving this album.

Over all, it’s a good album, but like I said… not a great one. Get it if only for those three songs I mentioned above, and then forget about the rest.

Average: B / 80-83%

Does the college snack place here not sell Ramen just because they're trying to avoid a cliché?

Cinematography. A good sign pointing to a Best picture award? possibly.

As much as I want Inglorious Basterds to win, Avatar deserves it too. Say what you will about the story being unoriginal or whatever, it was a masterfully crafted film, and I don’t regret seeing it four times. In fact, I’d go again if someone asked probably. It’s that good.
