Everyone always says things like “I’m quiet when you first meet me, then BAM!”

But I feel like in a lot of ways it’s the exact opposite with me. When I first meet someone, I tend to talk fast, talk a lot, say a lot, and really try to get as much of my personality out there as fast as I can; maybe it’s because I think that it’ll help me get to know the other person faster.

But when I get to know you, I tend to be a bit more reserved. Sure, I can be ridiculous and wild sometimes, we all can, but I’d say that I’m generally a pretty kept-to-myself kind of guy. I know that may sound weird, but I really try not to open my mouth unless I have something to say. And fair enough, I usually do.

But the point is, the better I know you, the more comfortable I am with silence. The less I know you, the more I want to talk.
