Youtube have blocked the full-length official version of the ‘Telephone’ video to under 18s due to: ‘nudity, same-sex kissing, language, and unnerving scenes.’
If you are under 18 and you are responsible, then Gaga has put it up onto her own offical website here.
*please note, although there are many responsible and mature under 18s, just remember that youtube have done this for a reason, so please act sensible around it.
Okay, I can get censoring something for nudity, for language, and even for (ridiculous sounding) “unnerving scenes”. But censoring for a same-sex kiss has got to stop. It’s just plain silly. Something tells me YouTube isn’t bothering to censor videos with men and women kissing.
I know people have said this a thousand times before, so I apologize for contributing to the collective broken record that is the equal-rights movement.
