Sorry this is so late. Like, by 24 hours. But it’s so worth it, right?! Isn’t she adorable like whoa?!

GPOYW, Part 1: I-Thought-It-Was-“Ah-M(air)-Ika”,-Not-“Ah-Murr-Ika” Edition.

My professor pronounces the word “America” funny. It is very, very distracting.

(Late) GPOYW: My-Mom-Gave-Me-A-Balloon-Animal-Giraffe-Because-I-“Looked-Sad” Edition.

Yeah, I know it’s more like a long-necked dog… but it’s the thought that counts. Thanks mom!

GPOYW, Part 2: This-Is-My-LOST-Watching-Face Edition.

8:05 AM. First class in one hour. Really regretting that less than three 3 hours of sleep. @___@

GPOYW, Part 1: 3:00 AM Edition. This is, admittedly, the worst picture of myself ever uploaded to Tumblr. For a number of reasons:

1. My hair has decided to be ridiculous.
2. My face is looking all huge and grosstastical.
3. My right eye looks like it’s bruised because it’s been watering and I’ve been rubbing it. (I have super-sensitive eyes, so reading in low-light at 3 in morning = ugh.)
4. It was taken at 3:00 in the morning.

GPOYW #2: M-m-m-monsteeeeer Edition.

GPOYW: What? Why, of course I’m giving you my 100% undivided attention, Professor Ferguson. Yes, I agree, the Parlement of Paris was very important sir… what? No, what’s a “tumblr”??? Edition.

Since I haven’t posted a real GPOYW in a while, I figured I’d combine a late one with some thoughts. Just for funsies. Okay, let’s go.

1. This was definitely one of the best breaks I’ve ever had, seriously. It felt longer than it was, and I got to do everything I wanted to do over break:

• I hung out with a couple of my friends who I haven’t hung out with simply because we’ve been busy and neglectful. It was great being reminded why we were friends in the first place. Now I just hope we don’t forget to hang out again soon!
• I got to see a few friends who have been away at college for what feels like forever, which was amazing. The coolest part was that it felt totally right, it didn’t feel like they had ever left. The whole time I was thinking “Why don’t we hang out like this more often?”, only to realize that the answer was that we live in different parts of the country now.
• Finally, I hung out with my grandparents a lot. That sounds silly, but honestly, it meant a lot to me. They annoy me sometimes, but they’re basically my second set of parents. They raised me just as much, if not more, than my own mom and dad did. I really wouldn’t be who I am today without them, and I always feel awful that I neglect them so much. I’m such a stereotypical, ungrateful, teenage grandson.
