Today, thus far.

Today started kind of terribly.

I woke up at 7:15AM and had to be at OCC at 8. I rushed over only to realize that my first class was canceled (again) today, meaning that I didn’t actually have to be there until 12:30.

I’m using this time instead to work on (and hopefully finish) my awful computer class final project. This is the easiest class in the world, but why does the stupid final project have to be so gigantic? A 2-page word document and three spreadsheets? Really? Really?

Finally, I would like to point out that here at OCC, in the computer lab, the main “proctor” (is that the right word?) guy has this constant “I am looking at child pornography” kind of look on his face. It’s just a bit concerning. I don’t know.

What my schedule for next semester currently looks like. Looks pretty easy… I might add a class.

As for next year, I’m looking at double-minoring in Journalism and Communication in addition to my major (Electronic Media Communications with a focus in Radio and Audio). Because you know… why not?

30-Second Diabetes PSA

Robert Shoykhet

This was my first project in my EMC 144 class. We had to take a script (that was assigned to us) and record, produce, and edit a 30 second PSA. Mine was about diabetes.

Turns out, “diabetes” is a really hard word to say six times in thirty seconds when you’re super focused on not pronouncing it like Wilford Brimley.

Today’s Ethics Professor fashion critique:

The long shirt he’s wearing under his black sweater is the same exact color as his skin tone. It totally makes it look like his midriff is showing. Not awesome.

Notes

Ugh, today.

  1. I’m currently procrastinating from studying for this awful Ethics test I have today. I got a 69% on the last one, so I really need to step it up for this one.

  2. It’s way too hot in this library, and this chair is way too uncomfortable.

  3. My earbuds won’t stay in my ears today.

  4. Is it morally wrong to skip one class so you can go to a study session for another? Because that’s what I’ll be doing later today.

  5. I’m way too tired to be functioning. I woke up feeling awful, and that’s kind of been getting worse and worse throughout the day. I have this awful cough and no tea. Everything is miserable.

  6. All I want right now is a comfy bed, a soft blanket, dim lights, and cuddle time. Instead I’ve got an uncomfortable library chair and an Ethics test to stress out about.

Oh well, I’ll feel better come 4:00 or so.
