Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want (The Smiths Cover) by She & Him
This has got to be one of the greatest songs ever written, right? I mean, songs just don’t get much better than this. Zooey’s voice in this cover is more emotional than in anything I’ve ever heard her sing, and it’s beautiful. If She & Him’s next project was just an album of Smiths covers, I wouldn’t complain one bit.
